Whether you rode with us, shared our story with someone, or interacted with us on social media – We couldn’t have done this without you!

What 2020 has for us!

While dividing property into shares, we encountered some issues which one of them is land title and property valuation. Ensuring the integrity of the property, it takes us time and money to verify property ownership and its actual valuation before we list the property on our platform which in turn makes the property very expensive.

This problem is not peculiar to us alone. Even mortgage banks, commercial banks and Home/Land buyers goes through this stress to ensure the integrity of land for credit or purchase for commerce. This has locked down over $300Billion on Lands and making good number of lands unbankable in Nigeria.

To solve this problem, we have developed a blockchain-based land/property registry  system that connects all the real state key players to enable a faster real estate transaction. The platform helps the home sellers, developers or someone who need loan, to validate the authenticity of their land/property thereby reducing time the buyer/bank will take to validate the property.

Achieving this, we have partnered with Nigerian Mortgage Refinance Company (NMRC) and are currently on Proof Of Concept to launch in the first quarter of 2020. This gives us access to 25 banks, 10 Law Firms and Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV).

Sit back and watch as we will be giving you more updates on it.

From all of us here at HouseAfrica, best wishes for a safe Christmas and holiday season and a prosperous new year.
